I’ve been working in Technical Writing for more than three decades. I strongly believe in creating work for my clients that not only explains their concepts well, but it follows their company guidelines for Marketing and confidential information.

You can’t ‘be married’ to your text; you always have to be open to change. Learning is a constant thing; you stop learning, and you stop being good at this business. I have found over the years that you make many friends this way and you create good copy in the meantime.

Being unafraid to ‘ask the dumb question’ gets you far, and often I’ll deliberately ask a dumb question, just to check my own perceptions and to be certain of the direction that the copy is taking.

Work Samples

I don’t have work samples available for download, because I feel strongly about Copyrights. I have maintained branding and Copyright information for different companies during my tenures with them. Consequently I am sensitive to proper observance of Copyright practices. In no way is it okay to use something just because you ‘found it on the Internet’.

I have permission to share materials I’ve created as part of my portfolio, but due to Copyright restrictions, I cannot in good conscience post them here. Honesty and integrity are part of the package you get with my services. I believe strongly that when you leave for the evening that you leave with the knowledge that not only have you done a good job, but that you have done honest work.
